Friday, 26th of November 2021 will go down memory lane of all the participants at the grand finale of Ojora Kingdom 7LG and LCDA Competitions which Olaitan Segun Taiwo is the convener with the support of Iyalode Oluremi Jalupon, Prince Oniyemofe and other articulated Ijora Indigenes
The event started at the noon time , with the opening prayer by a Pastor who was also a moderator of a quiz competition among some school in Ijora and its environs.
The opening speech by Iyalode Coker/ Aguda Chief Mrs Jalupon, then the quiz commenced on ' the topic "Should Corporal Punishment Be Abolish in Nigeria Schools"? The talents hunt show by four contestants, followed by Boxing , playing of table tennis and other indoor games.
Insightmagonline learnt that football mactch had earlier occurred between Olori Abosede Ojora's Babes and Apapa LG football team.
It was an opener, very impactful and educative, Chief Mrs Oluremi Jalupon had confessed, though regards the debate among Ijora school pupils, Iyalode of Coker / Aguda as a mother believes corporal.punishement may not be totally abolish in Nigeria Schools but implored Nigeria parents and teachers not to transfer any forms of aggression on their children and wards for it is of more harm than good to the children of this 21st century .
The convener Olaitan Taiwo appreciated His Royal Majesty Oba Aromire for such opportunity given to him as the event was to correct the wrong notion about Ijora Indigenes, says there are successful Indigenes of Ijora like Oba Aromire, Oba Oniru, Chief Mrs Toyin Saraki and other prominent Nigerians.
Ola Royal gives kudos to Hon. Commissoner of sport in Lagos state, Chairmen and all officials of all the 7LG , LCDA under Oba Aromire jurisdiction, and also Doctor Taiwo, for the love and support towards the success of the impactful event , Oba Ojora Chief Press promises the best in the future events.
However, Hon. Fowowe could not hide his joy during his brief interview with the Journalists , he was delighted e first, because the event was a unification gathering among the LG and LCDA under Kabiesi Oba Aromire and also a boy that he has been nurturing in sport has made him proud by emerging as a winner at the event . The leader of the house in Apapa LG says he will not relent his efforts untill the boy's better becomes best.
Among the special guests of the day was Hon. Etti and his wife, Hon. Ganiu VC Apapa LG, Hon. Fowowe ( Leaderof the house Apapa LG) all the 7 LG councillors and of course Oba Ojora chiefs and the Journalists were in attendance to make the event a memorable one
