It wasn't just a mammoth crowd but a gathering of the Muslim faithful as well as concerned indigenes at home and abroad for the 2nd annual Ramadan lecture Orchestrated by HRM (Dr) Yisa Olusola Adeniyi Olaniyan "OSHINGIN 11" The ONIPOKIA OF IPOKIA KINGDOM.
HRM in his brief opening address could not but appreciate Almighty Allah for His faithfulness as well as thank Sheik Ajani Bello for the honour bestowed on him and the good people of Ipokia at the annual Ramadan lecture which has come to stay. Kabiesi rounded up his speech by imploring Ipokia Indigenes both home and abroad to embrace love and peace for in unity there is strength.
The Ramadan lecture with the theme "UNITY" was clamoured on by the famous renowned factual Islamic cleric Sheik Muyideen Ajani Bello who was the guest speaker. Sheik Bello in his goodwill message insisted all that revolves around Ramadan is love, peace and unity as slated by Prophet Mohammed. For this, Muslim, non-Muslim, Ipokia Indigenes, Ipokia residents, Ogun state, and Nigeria at large should embrace peace and let unity be each watchword.
Olu of Imasaye from Yewa- North was a special guest as well as Alhaji Akewusola in a brief chat with the media could not but give kudos to Onipokia of Ipokia Land for such a gesture of an inspirational lecture which has yielded the best in the life of the listeners.
The chief Imam of Ipokia was so grateful as he pronounced Oba Yisa Olusola Olaniyan as the first monarch in the history of the Ipokia Kingdom for such a Ramadan lecture.
Sheik Muyideen Ajani Bello, Chief Imam of Ipokia, neighbouring town chief Imams, Alphas, Islamic women wing association ( Alasalatus), Islamic scholars and the audience could not but shower prayer of longevity, good health and peaceful reign on Oba Yisa Olusola (OSHINGIN THE 2ND) as he remain on the throne of his forbearers.
It will be recalled that after the demise of Oba Rauf Olatunji Adeole, HRM ( Dr.) Yisa Olusola Olaniyan amidst glitz and glamour was coronated as the 46th monarch in Ipokia kingdom at a successful kingship doctrines / rites "IPEBI" of fifteen (15) months on September 5th, year 2020.
Onipokia of Ipokia year 2023 2nd Ramadan annual lecture held on Monday the 27th of March was attended by Ipokia Indigenes far and near, neighbouring town residents, government officials, Ipokia LG chairman, the media and of course all Kabiesi'cabinets and chiefs including Onipokia of Ipokia heartthrob Queen Folashade Olaniyan.
It was a memorable day to behold as no one left The" OSHINGIN of' Ipokia's palace , Yewa - Ogun state without a relief package.
