Oworoshoki is filled with peace and tranquility with like mind residents whose major occupations is fishing, trading, petty traders and the likes under the kingship of Oba Bashir Oloruntoyin Saliu, the first monarch of Oworoshoki kingdom who joined his ancestors sometime August year 2021 after 21 years on the throne.
INSIGHTMAGONLINE NEWS Crews visited the community of recent and alas! It was as silent as a grave yard.
No normal trading as expected, stalls, shops were locked up. Insightmagonline news gathered that security operatives were within the community more than expected to pickup any one that speak against the new King.
Out of curiosity , media moved toward the late ELEBO LOWORO' palace, it was like a shock to witness enough security operatives asking questions , wanting to know where you are coming from, whom you are at the palace to visit and the like which is okay by the press at least, the police RRS are doing a good job in protecting lives and properties. But what service will RRS armored tank offer at late Oba Bashir Oloruntoyin Saliu's palace, I pondered within myself.
It will be recalled that after the demise of HRM Oba Bashir Oloruntoyin Saliu', the entire Royal family under the leadership of Olori Ebi of ' The ELEBO LOWORO " in person of HRM Oba Kabir Alani Omolaja Agbabiaka " Osolo of Isolo " informed and affirmed the choice of the family to the media by choosing Prince Nurudeen Olamilekan Saliu as " The Oba Elect", meaning the next King to the throne
.The entire Royal family, accredited chiefs and Baales of Oworoshoki, religious leaders and the community at large stood firm to this choice and look forward to the formal pronouncement, proper installation of Oba Elect Nurudeen Olamilekan Saliu as The New Elebo Loworo The 11 by the Lagos State government.
" We don't know Oworoshoki Obaship stool can be of a battle ground because the choice of the community was obvious. Though, there has been cases filled against the royal family regards the kingship stool which The Royal family won and the community jubilated for the victory, hearing Oba Elect younger brother , Tunde Saliu is now installed as a king just like that baffled us and sincerely yours, the community is not at peace, we are living in fear and anxiety" Anonymous Oworoshoki residents had these to say to INSIGHTMAGONLINE NEWS crew.
Chief Sultan Saliu, one of the " Oworoshoki Kings maker" said he and other Prince and princesses including the Oloris ( Queens) were chased out of the palace on Wednesday night, the 15th of June, year 2022 which was the day Tunde Saliu was installed at Alausa as Oba of Oworoshoki.
Chief Sultan said he was beaten up like a no person as he pronounced the stool of the new Oloworo of Oworoshoki as fake because no formal traditional rite was done, it was just an imposition by the Lagos State government because of Tunde Saliu " s influence as a politician and this development is not healthy for Oworoshoki residents at all .
Chief Sultan Saliu (Elebo) speech was also supported by Chief Taiwo Saliu, Alase of Oworoshoki, Princess Baliks, Prince Salem Saliu and some Royalties that had to speak with INSIGHTMAGONLINE NEWS Crew as they pleaded with The APC presidential flag bearer who was also the former governor of Lagos State Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TINUBU to look into Oworoshoki present situation , they also urged Gov. Sanwoolu of Lagos State to re address the situation for the mutual love in the royal family and peaceful co existence of Oworoshoki residents.
