•Promises To Help The Poor

One of the leading  aspirants for the 2023 race into the House of representatives to represent Alimosho federal constituency in the national assembly, Bar. Adekunle Adegunle has described Dr Olajide Adediran a.k.a Jandor has a Pathfinder and a courageous man by challenging  the existing political structure in  Lagos state which was designed to benefit just a few people.

Bar. Adekunle said this during a Stateholders meeting organized by Lagos4Lagos movement which held in  Alimosho local government area of Lagos State

In his words" Every politician of note in Lagos state knows a day will come where the hegemony of the 'Lagos cabals'  will be challenged, but on when or who will lead the struggle is what they do not know. Here we are today, a revolution is out in the person of Dr. Olajide Adediran, infact I was also a  pessimist that the Lagos4Lagos movement can not survive or leave beyond a year but the lead visioner of the movement has proved everyone wrong with the  daily acceptance of the movement across the breath and length of Lagos state. It is on this note, I'm collaborating with him to replicate same in Alimosho Federal constituency."

 

"Alimosho has not been having  credible candidates or representatives over the years but representatives that are imposed  on us and  that is why we are   lagging behind. How many devlopmental strides can you point to or numbers of bills sponsored? This is the time 'Alimosho should work for Alimosho'  and not the other way around, it is the  time to let our people know that we need good representations both at the Lagos state house of Assembly and federal legislative house. These are the challenges that inspired me into joining the race because we cannot continued to allow few individuals determine our lives . I  believe come 2023 and by the special grace of God, I will be in  Abuja to  represent the  good people of Alimosho."

He stated further "Prior to this time, I never had the intention of  contesting for any elective office but to use my foundation (Adekunle Adegunle Global Foundation) to support the widows, however, I later realized, individually this cannot be achieved except one also has influence in the corridor of power to be able to do more."

"I am contesting solely to help the widows and the poor and nothing more, things are hard  for the poor and we need a serious minded person to salvage the situation, " he stated. 

'Oko Opo' as fondly called promised to extend his monthly free food package giving to the  widows to the downtrodden families too.
