NIGERIA, CAMEROON JOINT BORDER BRIDGE WILL FACILITATE FREE TRADE

The Nigeria Minister of Works and Housing Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) has said the construction of a new double lane border bridge between Nigeria and Cameroon will facilitate free trade .
Fashola said this on Monday the 26th of July as he inspect the 1,5km double lane border bridge that links Nigeria to Cameroon at Ekot Mfum in Efung Local Government Area of Cross River State.
It was gathered that the construction of the bridge started in April 28, 2017 and completed in March 2021 at the cost of $35. 9 Billion funded by both countries. ( Nigeria and Cameroon.)
