LG Poll: RRS storms Agege PDP candidate's hotel, arrests lodgers

Lagos, July 24, 2021 The Operatives of Lagos Rapid Response Squad (RRS) stormed the hotel owned by Chairmanship Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party in Agege and arrest 14 Lodgers.
Newsmen reports that image suite hotel was raided by RRS officials and arrested 14 lodgers in the process.
According to one of the operatives, "We received an information from above to come and search this hotel," he said.
Mr Ramoni Olawale, one of the residents who spoke with journalist said that the location of the hotel was far from any polling units around.
Ramoni said that it was a big surprise to the residents as the official of RRS stormed the hotel and arrested 14 fun seekers.
" This action of RRS came as a surprise to us as the RRS official raided 14 fun seekers at the hotel that were not electoral offenders.
Mr Yinka Egbeyemi, the RRS Commander in Lagos State when contacted on phone said he was not aware of the arrest as he was on monitoring patrol concerning the elections.
