This was confirmed earlier before the election by LASEIC officials, Gentlemen of the press and electoral monitoring teams that supplied of Ballot boxes for Agege local government for the July 24th Chairmanship election is not complete.
Nine ballot paper boxes out of ten boxes for both chairman and Councillorship ballot papers were supplied.
Each box contains 18 packs of ballot
Each pack has 5 booklets and a booklet has 100 ballot papers
Serial numbers start from 00000001 to 000081000
Each box contains 9,000 ballot papers.
Ward W- 48 packs=4,800 ballot papers from 00000001 to 00004800
Ward B- 28 packs=2,800 ballo papers from 00004801 to 00007600
Ward C-24 packs of 2,300 ballot papers with serial no 00007601 to 00009900
Ward D- 56 packs of 5,600 ballot papers with serial no 00009901 to 000015500
Ward E- 16 packs of 1,600 ballot papers with serial no from 000015501 to 000017100
Ward F- 43 packs of 4,300 ballot papers with serial no from 000017101 to 000021400
Ward G- 41 packs of 4,100 ballot papers with serial no from 000021401 to 000021500.
The above I formation is for both chairmanship and Councillorship election.
Remaining ballot cartons in Lasiec now is 6 cartons and 3 parks (15 booklets each )for both councillor and chairman ballot papers.
Total. No of ballot papers distributed for both chairmanship and Councillorship ballots is 25,000 ballot papers each.
The good people of Agege are worried regards this development to avoid any manipulations of election at the end of today's activity.
