Governor Seyi Makinde Tuesday afternoon sent packing commissioners and other political appointees, effective from June. 30, 2021.
The governor directed the former cabinet members to hand over to the most senior officers in their respective ministries.
The decision was conveyed to them shortly after the Executives meeting.
Insightmagonline learnt from a reliable source that the affected ommissioners were removing their personal effects from their various offices as at the time of filing this report.
It was gathered how Makinde had planned to relieve them sometimes last week.
Though details of the relief is still sketchy . The governor was said to have not pleased with the performances of some of the Commissioners while others lacks politics gimmick.
Insightmagonline understands that seven ( 7 ) of the commissioners may not return.
