Olomi Olojuoro Road Project Controversy: Contractor's Tenders Apology

In a recent twist, DC Engr. Limited, the contractor handling Olomi-Ayegun-Olojuoro-Ijebu Igbo road project, publicly apologized to Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, the representative of Oluyole Federal Constituency. This follows false allegations made against her. The accusations emerged during an Ad-hoc Committee session, accusing the Federal Government and Rep. Akande-Sadipe of inflating the contract sum.
Engr. Ayoola Oladeji, MD of DC Engineering Ltd., acknowledged the baseless nature of the accusations and revealed they were aimed at securing a contract extension. He regretted his earlier stance and disclosed unauthorized subcontracting of the project, raising handling concerns. The project, initially a 2-year plan, has now extended to its fifth year, despite receiving significant funds.
Engr. Oladeji's candid admissions shed light on the complexities of the Olomi Olojuoro Road project, prompting a reevaluation.
Additionally, Hon. Akande-Sadipe's focus remains her constituents' well-being and addressing misuse of taxpayers' funds.
