The Executive Chairman of Orile Agege LCDA, Hon. Johnson Sunday Babatunde conducted a one-day free medical screening program for residents and indigenes of Orile Agege LCDA Friday 8th August, 2023 at the recently commissioned Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo -Olu Primary health care center in Omotoye Estate.
The exercise was held to create awareness and encourage the residents to patronise and benefit from the numerous state of the art facilities the health facility has to offer.
The services provided during the sensitization included, blood pressure check, blood sugar test, malaria test, body mass index measurement, ante natal check up and medical consultation along with provision of appropriate drugs, amongst others.
'Health is wealth', Hon. Johnson Babatunde again told all the beneficiaries of the free health check up. He implored the beneficiaries present to make use of the Lagos State Health Managements Scheme (LASHMA) He further stated that the health scheme will help during emergency.
The Council boss promised the residents that his administration will continue to provide basic but quality health care to meet their needs.
Hon. Babatunde gave kudos to Dr. Akinde Ibiwunmi Kafilat, the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) in Orile Agege and her team for diligently working round the clock and keying into the council's agenda on health matters.
