LGSC PRAISES ORILE AGEGE COUNCIL BOSS....SAYS THE COUNCIL WILL BE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

 LGSC PRAISES ORILE AGEGE COUNCIL BOSS....SAYS THE COUNCIL WILL BE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 
























The Chairman Local Government Service Commission, Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries and Directors performed their bi- annual tour to Orile Agege Local Council Development Area on Thursday,13th July 2023  and Commissioner Hakeem Bamgbala who ably represented  the commission's Chairman. Hon Kamal Bayewu said," we are very impressed by what we have seen here today, your Council will be highly recommended,  I almost didn't believe that I am in a Local government ",

Our main purpose here is to see how our workers are faring in terms of welfare and well being, to know the efforts that staff are putting in to make the Local government move forward and we can see that you all doing very well.


The August visitors  were welcomed by the Executive Chairman Hon J S Babatunde, vice chairman,  Hon Kafilat Pedro, Management  .


The  Executive Chairman, Hon.  Babatunde thanked the commission  for giving him the best team to work with and gave  thumbs up to the management and staff,  he further said. " we are friends and partners in progress in this Council,  this crop of staff are all wonderful set of  people".


In the same vein, the Permanent Secretary LGSC, Training & Establishment Mrs Bibilomo Olusekun stated that Traning is essential for self development, she urged all officers to ensure that they acquire more trainings so as to equip themselves in order to assume more responsibilities to move the civil service forward.














She added that Officers should not see deployment as witch hunting, but as an act  meant to improve productivity,  so as to serve efficiently. 

 

She advised all members of staff to go to their duty post whenever they are redeployed,  and that every member of staff should be familiar with the civil service rule, particularly, on discipline, appointment,  misconduct amongst others. 


The Council Manager,   Dr.  Augustine Adekoya  while giving the vote of thanks appreciated the commission  for deeming it fit to check on  staff well being and welfare. He promised that the staff will not disappoint the commission.













Other dignitaries at the event were the Commissioner representing commissioner  Ahmed Seriki,  Commissioner  Taofeek Adaranijo, Commissioner  Durosinmi  Bowale, Permanent Secretaries and Directors in the LGSC , The Vice Chairman  Hon. Kafilat Akanni Pedro, Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. James Agboola , deputy leader, Hon Toyin Akinola. Chief whip Hon Waheed Balogun,  Special Adviser on special duties, Hon  ode omu, management and  staff.
