JUSTICE FOR SHERRIF ISHOLA SALAMI ! CHSR CLAMOURS

" What a gruesome murder? In Nigeria of Law and order ! We demand justice for our beloved brother, friend, son of the soil of Ajiranland as well seek peace in Ojomu community' ". This was the request of Ajiran Youth Movement over the barbaric killing of Sherrif Ishola Salami in a petition through a solicitor Mr Omoyola forwarded to the AIG Nigeria Police Force Zonal Command Headquarters, Zone 11, Onikan Lagos dated May 8, 2023.
Copy was as well forwarded to The Centre For Human And Socio- Economic Rights (CHSR) A body of voices for the voiceless which prompted a press briefing held on the 18th of July, 2023 that Gov. Babajide Sanwoolu of Lagos state and the Inspector General of Police IGP Kayode Egbetokun should rise to the plight of Ojomu residents in Ajiran Land.
It will be recalled that Mr Sherrif Salami, a youth leader of MOBA town in Ajiranland was murdered on Tuesday the 18th of April, 2023, precisely three months after his gruesome murder nothing was heard from the Nigeria Police as the case was reported at Ogombo Police station Lekki and followed up with a letter from an Attorney to AIG Zone 2, Onikan.
The immediate family of the deceased comprises his critically ill aged mother ,wife and three young daughters are yet to be consoled that justice will be done to the memory of their beloved breadwinner.
The Human Right Activists under the leadership of Com. Alex Omotehinse demand justice for Sherrif Salami by imploring Governor Babajide Sanwoolu, IGP Egbetokun with Lagos CP Idowu Owohunmi to take the bull by the horn, with thorough investigation unravel the perpetrators as well seek transparency from Police Authority at Zone 11 Commad Onikan for the callous murder of Sherrif Ishola Salami who left behind his aged mother, wife and three minor.
