JSB BEGINS CONSTRUCTION OF DRAINAGES AND BOX CULVERT AT OLURINDE/ASHIPA STREETS.
In order to put an end to flooding in Olurinde and Ashipa streets in Orile Agege LCDA, the proactive and workaholic Council boss, Hon. Johnson Babatunde has started the construction of Twin Drainage and Box Culvert at Olurinde/Ashipa Streets.
The Council chairman said the construction of drainage is of necessity so as to put an end to the destruction of properties and havoc caused by flooding in this area.
He assured the residents that construction of drainage will be a long lasting solution to the incessant flooding they experience yearly.
He urged the residents to cooperate with the engineers on site and shun the acts of vandalism, destruction as well as to desist from throwing refuse and other waste products into drains when it's raining.
In his words, Hon Johnson Babatunde said," You have to help the government to help you, when you block the flow of water in the drains, it comes back as flood and destroy lives and properties, let's thrash our refuse appropriately and we will all benefit from a flood free environment".
