ALL SET FOR 2023 ODUN OMO IGANMODE FESTIVAL AS OLOTA  INAUGURATES THE PLANNING COMMITTEE

 Odun Omo Iganmode is one of the biggest festivals in Ogun state, it is celebrated annually to bring together people of Otta origin in every part of the world to celebrate &  project rich cultural values and norms of Otta Awori people. It is a festival and cultural extravaganza that helps to remind us as a distinctly unique people of our origin, as an essential component for stimulating communal understanding, love and unity for a well established patriotism, among others.  

The Olofin Apesin Olode, Olota of the Paramount & Ancient Otta, Awori Kingdom, His Majesty, Oba Professor Adeyemi Abdukabir Obalanlege Ph.D, MCIPR, MPRII, FHEA (Lanlege Ekun II, Arole Iganmode) has approved the Chairmanship of Chief Temitayo Idowu (Otun Bobagunwa of Otta) to oversee the planning of the festival coming up in the 3rd week of December, 2023. Chief Idowu, is a senior executive officer at Erickson  Nigeria is a philanthropist and a lover of his community and a prominent promoter of cultural events and community development projects.  He’s expected to bring to bear his rich experience to deliver another world class event. 

The full list of the committee as constituted by His majesty includes seasoned professionals & eminent personalities with proven character and integrity;
