Fire razes part of Ooni of ife's Palace

A building apartment within the Palace Of the Ooni Of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has been razed by fire.
According to a statement signed by the Palace spokesperson, Otunba Moses Olafare, the inferno was triggered by power surge at about 11:30pm on Friday and was put off by combined effort of the fire services.
Olafare stated that no casualty , no injuries recorded, no cultural items lost during the incident, adding that the inferno did not spread beyond the affected building located at a section of the palace premises.
