It was a serious matter at the recent Alimosho APC stakeholders meeting with the presence of Mr. Tayo Ayinde , Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu" chief of staff coupled with the presence of Mrs Adejoke Orelope Adefulure, Hon. Enilolobo and some eminent Alimosho indigenes, political stalwart regards low vote at Alimosho which is known as 'Lagos Niger Delta " during the presidential election.
Alimosho youths were angry as they show their grievances with enough is enough of the ill-treatment from their political leaders.
Hon. Jamiu Ajisegiri is one of the son of the soil in Alimosho under ward G, an unrepentant APC member who was recently appointed as a member of Tinubu/ Shetima-. Sanwoolu/ Hamzat independent Campaign Council ( ICC) could not but be a voice, by nailing the issues that led to low voting for APC in the just concluded February 25th presidential election.
Hon. Ajisegiri affirmed to INSIGHT GLOBAL ONLINE NEWS that it was only ward G out of the 7 wards in Alimosho that delivers for President-Elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, no dime was given to him by any APC leaders but for his love for Asiwaju he strived to get money, catered for polling units agents, as well as political thugs so as not to disrupt the polling booth also mobilised Alimosho residents for Asiwaju and he was glad his effort was fruitful.
Ward G in Alimosho local government is the biggest ward in Alimosho. They called us Niger Delta because our ward win election in Alimosho so when I did that some of those unity agent came they don't see any money from the party so I've to use the money to sponsor them as they use it to get sachet water, snacks because they're in the sun so I gave then #5,000 each and all this thuggery are ready to destroy the election because they don't receive any money, I've to settle then also because they knew me already and they know I was given a post in Alimosho. ICC official member Alimosho (independent campaign council). I know how much I spent when I contest as the local government chairman and I didn't get a return. All of us want to decamp because we have bad motive against the party for those called leader are doing to us. There's is cashless policy everybody is hungry. So I let them know the truth and I came out because of the masses. Leader is a servant of followers. They're just cheating us because I know Asiwaju had asked the leaders to cater for all but alas!. They are claiming leaders and they can't win their wards. I thank Almighty Allah that my ward G in Alimosho earned Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu the highest votes
Though, the Chief of Staff apologized on behalf of our Alimosho APC leaders but Politics can't continue this way APC followers, youths are sincerely sideline no benefit of been a followers from our leaders, things must change, we know President-elect Asiwaju and Gov. Sanwoolu is catering for all but it is these our leaders that are behind Alimosho APC supporters/followers misfortunes.
HRM Elegbeda of Egbede other elders at the meeting agreed with my complains as well to our grievances. Sincerely, the problem in Alimosho is faction from Enilolobo and Auntie Joke Adefulure which is used in deceiving the members Hon. Ajisegiri concluded!
