NIMR : 4 Girls & Women (4GW) Idea Contest 2023

Nigeria Institute of Medical Research NIMR 4 Girls & Women (4GW) calls on all mothers (aunties, sisters, etc) and daughters to an idea contest with submission deadline of 11:59PM on March 5, 2023.
This idea was convened by a Gynaecologist Prof. Oliver Ezechi, his team partnering with some researchers from USA regards the deadly cervical cancer which claim at least twenty-two female lives daily .
The cancer of the uterus is caused by Human Papillomavirus (HPV) the most common sexually acquired infection and often impacts young adults who become sexually active early takes life every 2 minutes globally.
In Nigeria, cervical cancer is the second most common and second to breast cancer among its female population. Over 36 million women over 15 years in Nigeria are at risk of developing cervical cancer with over 12,000 cases diagnosed annually, 8,000 death translating to 33 new cervical cancer and 22 death from the disease daily.
The contest question is "How might we promote HPV vaccinations for girls and HPV screening for women in Nigeria?"

Winners stand a chance to win awards which include:
1st place - N500,000
2nd place - N300,000
3rd place - N200,000
