 Award is meant  for the recognition of a job well done  and actions performed for the benefit of the populace/citizens.of acountry . The  recipient(s) is thus encouraged and inspires to do much more. The saying goes, ‘the reward of a job well done is for much more work’. With these, Nigeria civilization and development will be a pathfinder both in the world at large and in African in particular. 

My pointer was on Tuesday 20th December, 2022; where notable Nigerians and personalities received awards for a job well done for the populace.  

The Awardees are: Hon. Babatunde Johnson ( Chairman Orile-Agege LCDA) , Dr. Oyelade Oluwakayode, Mrs Laide Gold, Baale Abule Oja Yaba Lcda, represented by Chief Abdulwasiu Olatunji Amusa, Babalaje of Ejio land, Chief Sulaimon Adebayo represented by his wife Mrs Blessing Adebayo, Actress Ibironke Ojo ( Oshodi Oke) Actor Ibrahim Chatta, Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya,  Chief Mrs Folake Ijelu Okeowo ( Iyalaje of Ijora Kingdom) Rev. John kome (House of Assembly Ikeja Constituency I candidate),  HRM The OLOLO of Ijofin Land Oba Moruf Ayinla Awode as well as Prince Nurudeen Olamilekan Soliiu of Oworoshoki Kingdom.

Hon. Babatunde Johnson Sunday, is the Executive Chairman of Orile Agege Local Council Development Area, Lcda. He was honoured with  an Award of an Outstanding Local Government Chairman on Community Performances for great and selfless contributions to the grassroots development. It was a double celebration as that same day the 20th of December was also " Mr Projects'"  as fondly called birthday. 

Hon. expressed his gratitude, the reasons behind his exploit in infrastructural development was to give Orile Agege Lcda a new look and give school children conducive learning environment  unlike the poor school learning environment during his primary and secondary schools days. 

Dr. Oyelade Oluwakayode, Chairman Association Nigeria Private  Medical  Practitioner  ( ANPMP) Ogun State was as well honoured as an  Outstanding Medical Practitioner of the year 2022, which he dedicated to The Ogun State Private Medical Practitioners Association , for giving him a platform and avenue to be honoured excellently. In his speech, he stated that his effort in the medical profession is to safeguard the practice by reducing any forms of quackery in the medical field in Ogun State and afterward safe & reduce the high rate of death of Nigerians dying untimely in the country as a result of  quackery. And that the populace is been schooled to report any quark within their knowledge and vicinity.  

In conclusion, the Guest Speaker Dr. John Kome (PDP House of Assembly Candidate Ikeja), in his speech says, ‘…let good Nigerians come into politic that we may have a balance political ideas and prosperous Nigeria(ns) …we can have a new Nigeria if we hold all our  

corrupt leaders accountable who have made things unbearable for the progress of the nation. Our youth, the future of our Country Nigeria should swarm into action by check and balancing of people elected into power. He pledged to do his best if elected into power. He described Nigeria past heroes Alhaji Kayode Jakande and late chief Mko Moshood Abiola as leaders who are no more but their good legacies still rings in the minds of the people.

The memorable first of its kind Award presentation and Lecture took place at  NERDC Hall, Alausa Secretariat Ikeja as INSIGHT MAGAZINE MAGONLINE NEWS  Editor-in - Chief Oluwatoyin Mathnuel was showered with accolades.
