The Executive Chairman of Orile Agege Local Council Development Area, Lcda, Hon. Babatunde Johnson Sunday has been conferred an Award of an Outstanding Local Government Chairman on Community Performances for great and selfless contributions to the grassroots development .



The Executive chairman was showered with the accolades on Tuesday during the 2022 Annual Lecture and Mentorship/Leadership Award ceremony held at Nerdc Hall, Alausa Secretariat ikeja by the Mathnuel Media Concept, Publisher of Insight Magazine/MagonlineNews Headed by Oluwatoyin Mathmanuel.


The Executive Chairman, Hon. Babatunde Johnson Sunday expressed gladness over the Award in his address that it is worthy of thanksgiving and glorifying God for a prestigious organisation to recognise his works and impacts.



He said therefore that God has blessed Nigeria with human resources and it is important for us to do things rightfully, by touching human lives with bringing up new things into governance for the benefit of mankind's in order to leave no one suffering in the community .



He described how Orile Agege Lcda has been given a new face with its infrastructural edifice, endowed with Legislative Building attached with an elevator and Event centre of about 1500 seating capacity at ago.


 He mentioned that the Pilgrims Welfare Board assessment during her visitation, also said that it looks like a 5 Star Hotel in Israel.



















He asked further that how many lives have we been able to touch and uplift? That how many lives the Journalists too have used their work of journalism to uplift and beautify?  As we are the world we have short time to spend in the world.



He glorified God for giving him the grace to celebrate his Birthday on the same day Tuesday 20th December 2022. 



He reminisced how he has hated going to use his school Toilet during his school days, due to its poor state, which was the reason why he is currently committed to give the children of today, a befitting toilet so as to learn under a conducive environment.




The Guest Speaker, & the People Democratic Party, House of Assembly Candidate Ikeja, Dr. John Kome spoke in his speech that we can have a new Nigeria if we hold all our corrupt leaders accountable who have made things unbearable for the progress of the natio. 


However, maintained that the Youth should not be lured away from their business of a little beginning, through a token given by a political members! because the youth have all possibilities to become the best in their little beginning on whatever business they do.


He stated that the youths remain the future of Nigeria and are able to bring back the greater glory of the nation, therefore they should not be given cheaply to the politicians as a tools for violence and destruction. 




































He pledged to use his first 4 years of service selflessly to develop the state rightfully before he could be called the best, if emerges winner and be one of the legislators of Lagos State House of Assembly under the PDP party by the end of 2023 election. 


He stressed that Nigeria has better people in the country who have refused to come out to contest to beautify it, and lead it to a promise land. That his own bold step of contesting is not the only the best but himself could make a great difference. 



"What I learnt about white people during my stay abroad, is that they want to serve in his country to lay down a good legacy, so that when he dies he would be known and his names keep ringing for good things he has done" . He narrated.



He described Nigeria past heroes Alhaji KAYODE Jakande and late chief Mko Moshood Abiola as leaders who are no more but their good legacies are still there ringing in the minds of the people.


The Chairman Association of Nigeria Medical Private Practitioner of Nigeria Ogun State, Dr. Oyelade Oluwakayode was conferred an Award of Outstanding Medical Practitioner of the year 2022, and he dedicated it to the Ogun State Association chapter, for giving him a platform and avenue to be honoured excellently .




































He expressed the association set commitment as to safeguard the practice by reducing any forms of quackery in the medical field in Ogun State and afterward safe & reduce the high rate of death of Nigerians dying untimely in the country as a result of carelessness on quackery. .


He said, that there is already an ongoing partnership with Nigeria medical Association and Director of Hospital Service in Ogun State, to look carefully into the existing laws so as to fill all loopholes, in the state, and end the issue of quackery and any member collaborating with such practitioners.



He added openly that every member who collaborated with quack medical institutions,already has been warned to report the ones in their visinity with video evidence to a reporting channel created, and the State Government.



Other Award Recipients were Mrs Laide Gold, Baale Abule Oja Yaba Lcda, represented by Chief Abdulwasiu Olatunji Amusa & {Fish Trader} Mrs Oluwayemisi Toyin and Babalaje of Ejio land, Chief Sulaimon Adebayo represented by his wife Mrs Blessing Adebayo.
