Hon. Hakeem Olaogun Dickson is a known face  in Nigeria politics most especially in Lagos State where he served Surulere people as an   exceptional public servant in 1998.  As an outshined Executive Chairman of Surulere regardless of the intimidation from his boss Mr Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu , Mayor Hakeem Dickson stands out for  Excellent which earned him  Awards from Federal, State, Local Government as well from companies, individuals that knew his worth.

 Mayor Hakeem as fondly called, with his deputy Mrs Mojisola Afolayan recently  at a media parley reeled out his achievements  , Honorable affirmed to  the media that his ideas as Surulere Local Government Chairman back then is what makes Lagos till date.

The Governorship candidate of Accord Party comes 2023 general  election could not but proud of his inputs of job creation for over thousands  Surulere youths with his policy of NO TAX from companies within Surulere axis which made Surulere a crime free community, making Surulere roads motorable for his people with 24/7 of over 72  street light, making sure the senior citizens, women, disables, vulnerables, had  sense of belongings in his government by reaching out to them on monthly yearly basis as well as  kept  enough disabled busy within Surulere Local Government  . Mayor Dickson is a very libral person with the spirit of come let us do it together for a better Lagos .

Hakeem Olaogun Onikoyi Dickson been of same paternal origin with Mama Abibatu Asabi Mogaji from the Onikoyi dynasty,  proudly said he is the best candidate for Lagosians comes 2023 for been the son of the soil,  he knows where shoes pinches, as his ideas of creating  Coker-Aguda, Itire local Council now generated 57 LCDAs in Lagos state as much as the introduction of SLEC ( Surulere Enforcement Corps)  is now known as LASTMA, moreso, Laison officers in Surulere's markets which is now KAI to mentioned but few.
