Agege LG unveils 2022 International Trade Fair, empowers 100 young entrepreneurs to showcase products

(NAN) Agege Local Government in Lagos State has unveiled 2022 International Trade Fair where 100 young entrepreneurs were given free stands to showcase their goods and services to the customers.
Alhaji Ganiyu Egunjobi, the Executive Chairman Agege Local Government in his remarks during official unveiling of the 2022 Agege International Trade Fair at Agege Stadium urged the residents to patronise the youths in various products.
According to him, constant patronage at the trade fair will encourage the young traders to increase sales and develop the business continuously.
"This is an annual trade fair meant to empower the young traders at the same helped other traders to showcase their products to customers within and outside the community.
"Many people have benefitted from this programme in the past and we are still embarking on it to empower entrepreneurship among the grassroot youths.
"This is another way we use to encourage them in their different entrepreneural skills and help them showcase their products to the public," he said.
Egunjobi represented by his Wife, Mrs Ramat Egunjobi, urged the traders to make the good affordable to their customers to encourage more patronage.
Mr Gbenga Abiola, the Vice Chairman of the Council said that the annual trade fair activities have brought lots of positive impacts to trading activities in Agege community.
Abiola also the Chairman Organising Committee of the 2022 International Trade Fair urge the residents to throupe in to the venue and patronise the traders and artisans in the community.
"This is way of putting commercial activities and businesses in Agege in the right direction to ensure development in the community.
"This trade fair has brought more developments to the commercial activities in Agege where both indigenes and non indigenes benefitted from annual trade fair. he said.
Mrs Taibat Lawal, the Iyaloja General of Agege in her remarks gave kudos to the local government for the opportunity given to traders to showcase their goods and services for sales at no cost.
"We thanked the local government council for this annual trade fair and great opportunity given to traders here in Agege to transact businesses freely," she said.
Mrs Omolara Anifowose, one of the beneficiaries in her remarks thanked the local government chairman for the kind gestures to showcase their businesses at the international trade fair.
Anifowose said that the annual trade fair has brought tremendous growth to her fabrics business.
Omowunmi Ogundipe, also a beneficiary hailed the council administration for the annual trade fair.
"This is one of the period we always looking for to make huge sales in our goods and services because the fair always attract customers from the various community and in the state in general.
"We want government to intensify the publicity to attract more people to the fair," she added. (NAN)
