Diaspora Youth Forum congratulates Tinubu for clinching APC Presidential ticket

(NAN) The Nigerian Youth and Diaspora Forum For Bola Ahmed Tinubu (NYD4BAT) has congratulated the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for winning the presidential ticket of the party.
Mr Tito Philips the National Chairman of the Group said in a statement signed by the Director of Media and Publicity of Dr Ajibola Abayomi, described the feat achieved by the former Lagos State governor as historical and exceptionally courageous.
"To have convincingly scored 1, 271 over the 316 votes of the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi who came second with the Vice-President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo coming third with 235 votes was a symbolic testimony to Tinubu's glaring popularity in the APC and across nation.
"We also used this opportunity to remind Nigerians citizens that Tinubu is the only man for the job and only preferred choice.
"Our choice is Jagaban, because he is a performer and our group is about promoting performance based democracy.
"While others were sleeping or merely talking, he was busy traveling round the whole country campaigning to delegates.
He was the hardest working aspirant in the whole country, no wonder he emerged flawlessly victorious." he said.
According to the him, Tinubu a courageous leader, a thinker and doer, he remained focused on his goal despite series of political distractions and plots to stop his emergence.
Philips said that Tinubu showed class and character of a deserved champion.
"We want to state for the record that once again, the Jagaban has proved the book makers wrong with his determination to lead Nigeria to the promised land."
"It is even divine for Tinubu whose 1271 votes is synonymous with the Psalm 127 v 1 that reads; ”unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain." God indeed fortified his fortress to emerge as Nigeria's next president.
Philips urged other aspirants to collectively work for the victory of the party during the 2023 general election.
He said that the APC primaries was transparent, free and fair.
"We want to encourage other aspirants to accept the outcome in good faith in the spirit of sportsmanship." he added.
The chairman said the group comprised of the teaming youths both within and outside Nigeria as NYD4BAT was energised to deliver over 5 million votes to Tinubu during the general election.
According to him, we have set machineries in motion to enlarge the coarse of voter education and e-campaign based on issues. (NAN)
