2022 WORLD REFUGEE DAY: AREF Shows Empathy To 500 Vulnerable Persons

As part of celebrating the 2022 World Refugee Day on June 20th, 2022, the African Refugees Foundation (AREF) showed empathy to 500 vulnerable persons to commemorate the day. 


The Africa Refugees Foundation is a humanitarian, non-profit, non-governmental, voluntary organization with the 3-R strategy - Rescue, Rehabilitation and Re-Integration of African Refugees, Evacuees, Returnees and Internally Displaced Persons with the aim of been a key player in the relief environment in Nigeria and Africa at large.


Refugees and Internal Displace Persons (IDPs) are the by-product of man's inhumanity to man. Although, it is pandemic in nature, and creates scars in the hearts of men and retarding development in all its ramifications.


The World Refugee Day was celebrated in honour of the founder of AREF, Late Chief Segun Olusola who was a friend of the lonely and spoke for refugees and displaced persons at various fora.


As the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) attempts to provide alternative abode that necessitate - NO CONDITION IS PERMANENT, the deplorable state of refugees calls for urgent attention.




In light of this, the African Refugees Foundation in its press release signed by Prof. Kolawole Raheem, Hon. Adviser & Trustee of AREF craves for support, understanding and commitment from individuals and the government to enable the foundation deliver germane issue towards the facilitation of her development initiative.
