It was a gathering of who is who among Ogun state certified medical practitioners at this year 2022 27th Scientific Conference, Annual General meeting of The Association of Nigerian Private Medical Practitioners held at ACE Medicare Clinics, Ogun state , Nigeria.
The event scheduled for two days 24th , 25th of June, 2022 with the Theme " The Prosperous Private Medical Practice -- Way Forward" And Olasinbo memorial lecture was declared opened via zoom by Hon. Commissioner for Health Dr. Mrs Tomi Coker, who appreciated Dr. Kukoyi the host, Dr. Dosunmu, Foremost medical Practitioners and other collegues inputs as well applauded effort of the local organising committee for year 2022 annual conference and AGM.
Dr. Gbadebo Saba who was the guest lecturer spoke to a length on setting up a standard prosperous medical homes as he laid emphasis on researches, locations, organization, accounting, source of drugs and most especially encouraging the medical personels with good renumiration for these ones will be a form of advertisement
Dr. Kayode Adesola , ANPMP president buttressed the points highlighted by the guest lecturer as he reeled out the achievement of the Association under his watch coupled with other pending issues of high level of taxation by the government , epilepsy power supply, bad roads and tackling the menace of unprofessional / mushrooms medical homes which hope will be sorted out as soon as possible.
Dr Kayode Oyelade, the Incubent chairman of ANPMP Ogun state chapter in his brief interview with INSIGHTMAGONLINE NEWS revealed the Theme ' The Prosperous Private Medical Practitioners' - Way Forward" for the 27th annual conference was perfect! For it was to encourage younger medical Practitioners and also a word of caution to doctors trooping into other countries for greener pastures .
North, East,South, West home is still the best as Dr Kukoyi's the host of the conference is a case study. " If the Director of ACE Medicare Clinics can put up a hospital that is approved for post graduates training , which also accommodate foreign doctors here in Ota, Ogun state without traveling overseas for once then any other private medical practitional can make it without leaving the shore of this country if we put our house in order regards today's lecture," Dr. Kayode Oyelade concluded.as he appreciated the state Commissiner , ANPMP President, NMA Vice Chairman, collegues far and near ,the Local organising committee for the success story of the year 2022 Conference and AGM of ANPMP Ogun state chapter.
The conference with over 100 registration featured panel discussions on NHIA / NHIS, along with Pharmaceutical presentations was attended by Permanent Secretaries in the Ministry Health , Directors of hospital services like: Dr. Adeola, Dr. Saba, Dr. Osisanwo NMA Vice Chairman, Dr. Ajanlekoko, Dr. Kukoyi, Dr. Babasanya, Dr. Olufunsho and other Director of hospital services to mention but few.
