Ijaiye is a famous century town in Ijaiye / Ojokoro LCDA under the Chairmanship of Hon. Tijani and Oba Lambe The Olojokoro Of Ojokoro in Lagos State.
The 11th of March, year 2022 will remain fresh in the memory of Chief Akinwale Olufemi Aremu Akintonde ( JP) The Baale of Ijaiye Town and the community at large as Baale marked his birthday, honoured by the Youths of the community ( Ijaiye Young California Guyz) as well awarded The Outstanding Leadership Award of Year 2022 by Editor Tunde Odofin The publisher of Kingdom and Power Magazine , Ofada in Ogun state, Nigeria.
Though, it was a very low key get- together party but with the gathering of who is who in the society of Yoruba traditions and culture. All that had the privilege to speak with INSIGHTMAGONLINE NEWS crew qualified Baale Aintonde ( JP) with more than enough appropriate adjectives . Though, a very strict, No non-sense, Man of his words ,Disciplinarian . All and sundry look forward to Kingship stool very soon in Ijaiye town .
When Baale Akinwale Olufemi Aremu ( JP) had to speak with INSIGHTMAGONLINE NEWS crew in his accommodating look and calm voice, Said he is delighted and to God Almighty be all the glory for his faithfulness and mercy over his life, families and Ijaiye community at large!
Baale continued by saying Ijaiye town is an aged town of centuries due for Kingship , with relevant structures like; Police post, LCDA, Secondary / Primary schools, Modern market, Health Centre and the likes erected in the community by The Lagos State Government qualifies the town to be rule by a king.
Though, efforts towards actualising Kingship stool has been taken severally yet Baale Akinwale Akintonde is so optimistic that someday, The Lagos State Governmentt under the Leadership of Gov. Babajide Sanwoolu will favour Ijaiye town with Kingship.
At the get together mini gathering of Baale Aintonde' s multiple honour was Ven. Bisi Ogbeola who offered the opening prayers, Baale Ajegunle ILO Prince Sarumi Dada, The Araba of Ojokoro High Chief Ajanaku, The Araba Of Mushin High Chief Ifajobi, Oluwo Ifayemi, All Ijaiye chiefs, Princes , Princess and of course the Oloris.
Olori Rahmota Akintonde could not hide her joyful mood regards the multiple celebration because Baale's first son shares same date of birth with him. So, it was a celebration galore as Olori agba as fondly called appreciated all in attendance, she also joined all to shower prayers of longevity, good health and of sound mind coupled with prosperity upon Baale Akinwale Aremu Akintonde as all wished his 6th anniversary on the throne of his forefather will be of Kingship .
