2022 INT. WOMEN'S DAY: ' AS A YOUNG GIRL LOOKING FORWARD TO A PROFESSION, JULIE COKER INSPIRES ME" --  LION PRINCESS ODUMOSU.

 8th of March of every year is set aside to celebrate women of virtures all over the world!

 This year's 2022 Women's Day With the THEME EQUAITY TODAY WITH SUSTAINABLE TOMORROW " ( #BREAKING THE BIAS )

.The word virtures revolves round strength, agility , endurance, persceverance, foresight and other adjective use in qualifying The woman indeed regardless of career or profession. 

The Professional Women In Media under the Leadership of The National President Lion Princess Lilian Chinyere Odumosu took  it upon herself to celebrate The women in media indeed by Inviting The screen Diva, a famous News Broadcaster in the late 50s,60s,70s in person of Chief Mrs Julie Coker.

Chief Mrs Julie Coker arrival at the venue of the event aroused a lot of nostalgia  among the audience  that knew her back then. It was an atmosphere of excitement to see the elegant, eloquent, fashionable ACE Newscaster  whose ascent in pronouncing English words inspires most audience to be neither a journalist, newscaster or a broadcaster .

 Princess Odumosu  introduced the special guest of the day as a big auntie and an Inlaw whose appearances, gaits, ascent inspires her to accomplish her broadcasting dream . 

Lion Princess Lilian open up to say ' Mummy, you may not know this but I am saying it today that " As a young girl, you inspired my been a Newscaster today which I never regret, thank you ma for been a source of inspiration and a role model" 

Mrs Julie Coker whose screen attributes remains in her even at 82 with a smiling face  responded with laughter as she appreciated such gesture from Princess Odumosu, though most female broadcaster back then also encouraged her with such statement .

 But most importantly , Mrs Julie Coker urges The women in media to brake the ' BIAS ' indeed ! 

" Women in the media are to change the narrative of male cheuvinism. Take the bull by the horn , use your various plateform and medium to fight a good fight of faith with the government for women to be place in  the rightful place in Nigeria. It is still as it was during my days . Please  the change  is now, enough of the bit given to women in the National affairs, start changing the narrative this minute " ! 

The elegant First Nigeria Miss Western Region and the 2nd runner up of Miss Nigeria in 1958 concluded!  

It was a memorable Year 2022 International Women's Day celebration  as The National President of Professional Women In Media Princess Odumosu presented a gift to the special guest Mummy Julie Coker, followed by cutting of anniversary cake with the guests by members in attendance, snap shots and merry making . 

The Professional Women demomsrated the EVE  in them as exchanged of gifts with one another put the event to a halt.
