 Ogun: Bus Driver Stabs Mistress’s Husband To Death

A commercial bus driver, 38 has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his mistress’ husband to death.

In a statement by the Ogun Police spokesman, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi on Sunday, the incident happened on Friday in the Onipanu area of the state, reports the News Agency Of Nigeria.

Oyeyemi said that the deceased, who had been suspecting that the bus driver was having an illicit affair with his wife, confronted him and it led to a fight between the two men.

“While the fight was going on, the suspect, a commercial driver, brought out a knife and used it to stab the deceased in his back and chest, which made him (the deceased) to collapse.

“The victim, a welder, was rushed to the State Hospital, Ota but  unfortunately pronounced dead by the doctor on duty.”
