Ogun Festival 2021: We Should Differentiate Between Culture , Tradition and Religion - Gani Adams

Ikorodu was glamorous on Tuesday the 21srt of December, 2021 when the Areonakakanfo of Yoruba land had to visit the ancient town under the Obaship authority of The Ayangburen of Ikorodu Oba Adewale Shotobi who was The chief host of Ogun Festival 2021.
After all protocol been observed, Iba Gani Adams ( Chief promoter Olokun foundation and the National Coordinator OPC world wide) in his speech cleared the air that the day's event is part of The Yoruba culture and Tradition .
Ogun who originated from Ire in Ekiti State was not only a warrior but also the patron deity of smiths and craftsmen and also arbiter of all technological development because everything made of iron are Ogun instruments.
Gani Adams buttressed the points that Ogun as the god of iron is worship in advance countries like Singapore, China, Japan and Germany and because these countries especially Japan and Germany knows the worth of Ogun, tremendiously prevail in the technological growths of car production all over the world
. In Nigeria Ogun is mostly worship in Yoruba towns like Ekiti, Oyo, Osun and Ondo township which indigenes celebrates Ogun festival annually .
Towards the end of his speech, Gani Adams urges all to differentiate between culture, tradition and religion because Ogun festival is The Yorubas cultural inheritance from inception which involves daily uses of items like keys, knives, cutlasses and which ever tools that has to do with iron.
The Olokun foundation custodian urges all to hold firm unto Culture and Tradition so as to get things right accordingly.
In attendance at year 2021 Ogun festival in Ikorodu were invited monarchs, chiefs, Ogun priests / custodians , OPC members/ officials, lovers, fun seekers of culture and traditions , the media also were not left out of the great memorable annual event.
