We extended invitation to the general Public and the Government Officials  particularly the Leadership of the Federal Executive, Legislative and Judicial arms of the Government, led by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR; Senator Ahmed Lawan, the Senate President and Hon (Justice) Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, Chief Justice of Nigeria, simply because Bola Ige was a Senior Citizen and Senior member of the Federal Government when he was brutally murdered 20 years ago and up till today, the Assassins are still moving freely in our midst and yet, we are crying daily for a safe environment when we all know that Bola Ige murder was the peak of assassinations in Nigeria and summarily, Bola Ige is now synonymous to assassination in Nigeria. There is no amount of deliberation we can have here Today that will have any meaningful impact without the cooperation of these three arms of Government. Their attendance or non - attendance, has a deep meaning, as well as their full cooperation at unraveling the Killers. "Who Killed Bola Ige?" is a poser for all of them headed by Mr President and nobody else. I want to tell them here Today that the whole World is watching the politics of Bola Ige murder and its key Actors since 20 years ago. I pray the history will be kind to this present Government at the end of the day, by May 29, 2023.

Our Group's coordinated struggles for Justice started since a year anniversary of the passage of Chief Ajibola James Idowu Ige, SAN, which was chaired by Senator Ayo Fasanmi and held inside the House of Chiefs, Parliament Building, Ibadan, Oyo State, in December 2002, where debut of our Campus Insight Magazine with which we compiled the achievements of the 6 Alliance for Democracy Governors was formally presented same day but the Bola Ige Centre for Justice was formally inaugurated in December 2004 both as Non - Governmental Organisation (NGO) and the International Centre for Youth Development, inside Oranmiyan Hall of  Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, parading Barrister Femi Falana, SAN, and Mr Dare Babarinsa as our Guest Speakers, with goodwill messages from President Tanbo Mbeki of South Africa and Gen. The dead among this list will be glad today in their graves that, it has been "no retreat, no surrender", for the past 20 years.

Since its emergence in December 2004, Bola Centre for Justice has been building upon the laudable legacies and ideals of the late Attorney General and Minister of Justice, who doubled as the Deputy Leader of Afenifere, Chief Ajibola James Idowu Ige, SAN, and we won't rest on our oars until justice is done in this most famous murder case in Nigeria and numerous others.

L-R: Mr Tajudeen Adebanjo, Representing Mr Adeniyi Adesina, Editor - In Chief, The Nation Newspaper; former ADC to Chief Ige, Mr Ade Ajakaiye and Hon Wasiu Ayodeji Adesina, Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government and the Representative of Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, former Deputy Governor of Lagos State

While we commend the unrelenting efforts of the Federal Government on massive infrastructural developments, poverty alleviation programmes like Trader money, Market money, Npower, Federal employment, 20% increase in the salary of policemen as part of #EndSARS Protesters' demands, recognition of June 12 as Nigeria's Democracy Day, increase in farm products' export and many more, we mustn't shy away from telling the same Government that security is getting worse by the day, though since 1999 till date but highly promising President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, needs to differentiate himself within the remaining one and half years of his administration because his kinsmen, the Northerners are feeling the brunt more than the Southern Part of the Country and  as he hopes to retire into their midst in flying colour by May 2023, he needs to change the tactics now.

The increasing and painful list of the Victims of assassination that includes Chief Bola Ige, Chief Harry Marshal, Chief A. K. Dikibo, Chief Layi Balogun, Pa Alfred Riwane, Alhaja Kudirat Abiola, Alhaja Suliat Adedeji, Mr Dele Giwa, Admiral Tunde Elegbede, Hon. Odunayo Olagbaju, Captain Jerry Ayegbe, Barrister Olanipekun, Barrister Barnabas Igwe and his wife, Iyalode Tejuoso, Alabi Olajokun, Funso Williams, Dipo Dina, Ayo Daramola, Charles Nsiegbe, Andrew Agorn, Ogbonaya Uche, and many more, has dented Nigeria's image.

On "say no drug abuse" advocacy which we are kicking - off Today, please listen attentively, all the about to wed Grooms and Brides, the School admission seekers, employment seekers including political Office Aspirants, should be aware as from Today that the law is on the way that will make you forfeit your wedding certificate, admission letters, INEC certificate of return and other important entitlements, once you fails a drug test. If we can all "say no to drug", our Society will be peaceful and progressing accordingly

We must appreciate this memorial gathering, 20th year after the gruesome murder of Chief Bola Ige, SAN, as well as general public following our track since then. Eni ti o s'oju, koda bi Eni ti o s'eyin. Eyin gbogbo wa a dara, sugbon e je ki a fi itan rere s'ile lo. Omo Rere a gbeyin awa na o, Ase Edumare!

Thank you all for your rapt attention.
