June 12, 1993 Election: MKO Abiola lives on!
This is the Video Tribute to Bashorun Mashood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, GCFR, the Late Nigerian President, by his close Associate when he was alive, Chief Dele Momodu.
We take solace in the fact that President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, had acknowledged the June 12 as Nigeria's Democracy Day since 2018, 25 years after the annulment of the June 12, 1993 Presidential Election, by the military Junta headed by former military President, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida.
We equally salute all the June 12 dogged Fighters, whose names will be too numerous to mention here, for keeping the Aluta flag flying since the incident occurred and making the June 12 the peak of all democratic Struggles in Nigeria.
If former military President Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida had known, he won't cancel the freest and fairest Election in the history of Nigeria because it has now turned out to be a thorn in his flesh for life.
May the soul of Bashorun MKO Abiola continue to rest in peace.
Broadcasted by the Coalition for A Better Nigeria headed by Comrade AWA Bamiji, as food for thought as the Nation is approaching another general Election
