ISTDAL HONOURS CHIOMA AJUNWA AS SHE PROMISES AN OUTSTANDING SPORT COMPLEX IN HER COUNTRY HOME

Friday , the 24th of September will remain evergreen in the life of the awardees, distinguished guests and the indigenes of Imo state where ISTDAL Hall of Fame Honours their own and also others with Awards of Excellence and Patrons Investiture at the Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel, V Island, Lagos.
The Theme of this annual event was " Untapped Investment Opportunities In Imo State " According to the President High Chief Chris Ekeocha welcoming speech ISTDAL was established in 1986 by all Imo state Indigenes in Lagos for a peaceful co- existence and welfarism while Hall of Fame was founded in 2008 in order to honour worthy Imolites who has excelled and distinguished themselves in their chosen Carriers and professions .
A famous athlete and senior officer in the Nigeria Police ASP Chioma Ajuwa, Lady Blessing Nwaoba, Hon. Prince Anslem Udoko, Sir Emmanuel Umeohia and some Imolites were among the awardees . Chioma Ajunwa was so excited to be honour as she said the award was a call to do more for her people, she promises to erect an outstanding sport centre in Imo state to the Glory of God so as to bring out the best in the life of young Nigeria and Imolites because the Bibele says " Your Talents will make a way for you" this acts according to Chioma will distact young Nigerians from violence , crime and keep them busy" .
The chairman of the occasion chief Reginald Ibezim appreciated such kind gesture from ISTDAL to distinguished Igbos because the award is not for only Imolites . Hon. Anslem Udoko in his brief chat with the media dedicated his award to God Almighty who has been his strength. " OROBO AREGBE" as fondly called implore Nigerians to choose rightly when it comes to leaders and the youths especially the Igbo should embrace peace so as to take Nigeria especially NDI IGBO states to the greatest height.
Moreso Hon. Joe Igbokwe a Lagos All Progressive Congress ( APC ) stateholder, Chieftain and a staunch member of Gov. Babajide Sanwoolu's cabinet clamours for peace, love and harmony among Nigerians especially the Igbos , though found themselves in the city but not to forget where one is coming from which is the home for North, East ,South and West home is the best. Hon. Joe Igbokwe acknowledge ISTDAL inputs , he look forward to see more successful acts toward Imo state development.
