ABULE - OJA is a peaceful açcomodating Community in Yaba LCDA Lagos state, under the Chairmanship of Hon. Adejare Omiyale with the authority leadership of High Chief Asimiyu Ayodele Abayomi Oja the greatgrand son of the first Baale of Oja Late Chief Okunlari Oja who died in 1915.
Baale Abayomi Oja the present Baale of ABULE OJA in Yaba LCDA strongly believe in his ancestors and Yoruba gods especially ( OGUN the God of iron and ESU ) which his forefathers worships for peace and tranquility in the community.
Which is why Baale and all notable sons and daughters of ABULE OJA community on August 20, ISESE DAY of every year worship these gods precisely at the evening time when OGUN the god of Iron arrives home after a long journey.
Insightmagonline on visitation to Baale's palace noticed the excitement and joy among the worshipers and attendees with various beat of drums, dance and appellations which was nothing but fun and merry making.
Baale Abayomi Oja in his brief chat with INSIGHT ONLINE NEWS says " YORUBAS should stop been deceived by foreign religions , atleast before the advent of corn, there has been food for fowls' Islam and Christianity was introduced by the whites and funny enough these Western world cherished Yoruba gods than the Yorubas .
Baale Asimiyu cited an example of " ILE AJE ' House of wealth in England which was decorated by Cowries. Baale also cited an example of OSUN OSOGBO Yoruba goddess of river which was also most worship by the whites.
High Chief Abayomi Ayodele OJA then implore all YORUBAS ,ODUDUWA decendants to come back to their first love, the first religion inherited from our ancestors which is ISESE because " ISESE LAGBA ' BAALE ABULE OJA exclaimed !
