AREF WORLD REFUGEE DAY 2021 : INAGURATES AJIBULU- MONIYA GALLERY , ESTABLISHES HON. BOARD OF TRUSTEES.


 AREF' CELEBRATES WORLD REFUGEE DAY, 2021.

On the 20th  June of every year is 'WORLD REFUGEE DAY" . World Refugee Day year 2021 was held at  AJIBULU- MONIYA GALLERY which was officially Inagurated  with the establishment of 10 AREF Hon. Members of Board of Trustees:  Dr. Adesegun Akinolugbade, Mr Ademola Oyinlola, Adejuwon Adenuga, Josephine Smith, Mrs Seyi Edun, Adebisi Kuforiji, Olugbenga Feyisetan, Ademola Oreagba, Fatai Suliaman and Margaret Ukegbu.





  ' AREF' The Africa Refugees Foundation  is a Humanitarian,  Non- Profit,  Non- Governmental, Voluntary Organization with the 3-R Strategy of Rescue, Rehabilitation and Re- Integration of Africa Refugees, Evacuees, Returnees and Internally Displaced Persons. With the aim of been  a key player in the relief environment in Nigeria and  Africa  at large. On the 19th of June, 2021, Origo International Honours AREF with a Humanitarian Award. The President of Origo International Mr Temowo is  AREF Canadian representative from inception.

Mr Jimi Olusola' made  AREF impacts in Africa countries and her outreach globally  known to the Journalists. At the moment Mr Olusola told the media that " AREF is in partnership with a global  organizations involving in social skills training  to train the teeming Nigeria youths ,  to keep them busy  because every one is a refugee in Nigeria,  no skilled graduates but book graduates ! So  with all the happenings in the country,  AREF is partnering with a global academy to train young Nigerians to be responsible as well  be useful to the society. AREF look forward to  partner with other organizations to train Nigeria youths so as to eradicate poverty and crime '. Mr Jimi Olusola'concluded.













AREF President Chief Mrs Ophra Benson do not hesitate to tell the media that " A refugee is a person that is not really establish in his or her country' and in Nigeria the pandemic has created a peculiar situation in the settlement of the refugees. Chief Mrs  Benson implore the government to rise to their  responsibilities while she look forward to AREF  best possible  in helping  people who are  refugees and people who can not get on by themselves.

Mr Wole Adediran in his close remarks appreciated all in attendance,  he reminded AREF President and the newly established Board of Trustees of how AREF keeps the memory of Late Amb. Segun Olusola's alive.
