Lagos LG Poll : As Agege Primary election Crisis Deepens : I Look forward to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu"s intervention. -- Hon. Olushola Osolana.
The Primary election of Agege Local Government on Saturday, the 29th of May was nothing but a caorse when the election of all the 7 wards in Agege was disrupted by hired thugs and hoodlums where electorate were chased out of the premises and electoral materials was shredded while the electoral boxes were destroyed.
It was a glaring acts for Insightmagonline who monitored the election of ward F in Keke Primary school premises and same violence which was gathered sponsored by the Secretary to Agege Local Gov. ( SLG) occurred in all the 7 wards which denied the electorate rights of democracy by exercising the franchise to vote for the candidate of their choice as Agege Local Government Chairman.
All the Agege Chairmanship Aspirants were contacted about the occurrence except Hon. Egunjobi who Promised to call and never did . Insisted that "There was no vote of Local Gov. Primary election in Agege because of the violence of some sponsored thugs, though the good people of Agege insisted their vote most count" Hon. Osolana one of the Chairmanship Aspirants repeated this statement on the 2nd of June, 2021 at a press conference where he explained his side of the story of the May 29 event with video clips as an evidence and words of testimonies from all Agege 7wards political leaders, which was what he narrated to the DSS when he receive a call of allegation by Hon. Egunjobi for disrupting the May 29 primary election.
Hon. Osolana said as he speaks there has not been any intervention nor response regards the May, 29 primary election caorse from Agege party leaders but he implore the APC Agege party leaders to speak and sketch out the way forward to reschedule the Primary election at ACME where the electorates will have to vote with maximum security.
Inconclusion, Hon. Olusola Osolana seeks The APC ( All Progressive Congress ) National leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu"s intervention regards Agege political crisis for progress of the party and the good people of Agege and it's environs.
