10TH EDITION ANNIVERSARY OF THE NIGERIA WOMEN AWARD
Nigeria Women Award is in commemoration of The International Women's Day coupled with the 10th year anniversary held at Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Conference and Exhibition Centre Hall on the 21st of March, 2021 with the theme: Women Elevate Nigeria. The award is set out to acknowledge the success of women who have proven themselves as outstanding and aspiring younger generations as role model, epitome of womanhood both public and private sector. The Convener and founder Princess Lilian Odumosu do not hesitate to express how fulfill she is in appreciating outstanding women doing wonderfully well in their various professions, whose inputs is neither recognised nor noticed in the society. When been questioned by the Journalists if women at the grassroot are not left out this recognition . All that Princess Lilian had to say was " Today's gathering is a testimony that The Nigeria Women Award is not for high and mighty in the society". In conclusion, Princess Odumosu implored women out there to put in their best possible in what ever they found themselves doing for someday, somehow, posterity will remember them for the best!
Among those that clinched The Nigeria Women Award 2021 was Dr. Titilayo Fowokan, Mrs.Morola Babalola, Seyi Shay, Chief Mrs Gloria Ihenacho and some notable awardees well represented . A Nigeria famous artist Mike.Okri was on ground to entertain the audience Which was a gathering of creme la creme in the media family!
