*OPERATION RESTORE PEACE: ENUGU STATE SECTOR OPERATIVES WELL-MOTIVATED, IN HIGH SPIRITS AND DULY DEPLOYED TO DELIVER ON MANDATES*

The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, *CP Mohammed Ndatsu Aliyu, psc*, has assured commitment of the Command to ensure that the goals of initiating and launching "Operation Restore Peace" by the Inspector-General of Police, *Ag. IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc (+), NPM, fdc*, are actualized within the shortest possible time in the State. He stated this in an address to Operatives of the State's Sector of the Operation at the State Headquarters, Enugu.
2. While applauding the peace-loving citizens of the State for the massive support so far shown to the well-articulated, initiated and launched operational strategy by the IGP, the Commissioner enjoins them to further render necessary supports to the Operatives, as they go about delivering on the mandates of the Operation.
3. Meanwhile, contrary to the totally malicious, unfounded and untrue speculations making rounds in some quarters of the social media, especially WhatsApp, alleging that the Operatives have refused to be deployed due to lack of motivation and release of funds meant for them; the Operatives, who have been well-motivated and in high spirits from day one, have been duly deployed to deliver on the mandates of "Operation RP".
