Crime Prevention Techniques : Zamfara Police Strengthens Security Situation, Urges Residence To Remain Calm.

CRIME PREVENTION TECHNIQUES :- ZAMFARA POLICE COMMAND EMBARKS ON RIGOROUS SHOW OF FORCE, CONFIDENCE BUILDING PATROL TO STRENGTHEN THE SECURITY SITUATION IN THE STATE,

DEPLOYS ADDITIONAL TACTICAL OPERATIVES TO ZURMI AND ITS ENVIRON TO OVERCOME THE RISING SECURITY CHALLENGES IN THE AREA,

URGES RESIDENTS TO REMAIN CALM AND SUPPORT THE SECURITY OPERATIVES TO DISCHARGE THE MANDATE EFFECTIVELY.

As part of its crime prevention strategies in Zamfara State, the Zamfara State Police Command under the leadership of CP Hussaini Rabiu psc, has embarked on indefinite show of Force and confidence building patrol to all the strategic areas of the state. The show of force which comprises operatives from all the Police Tactical units of the command is being commanded by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, DCP Elkana N. Ayuba and assisted by two Commanding officers of 42/78 PMF Squadrons. and CTU Base 18, Gusau.  The show of Force is designed to complement and strengthen the operational capacity of Police operatives, currently operating in different strategic locations that are prone to activities of recalcitrant armed bandits. 

In the same vien, the Commissioner of Police further deployed additional manpower to Zurmi, to support the Police and other security operatives in tackling the increasing security challenges in the area. The operatives have since left Gusau to Zurmi, and they were directed to remain there until normalcy is restored. They were also directed to arrest all criminal elements that have been making lives of the innocent people unbearable. 

The Commissioner of Police while briefing the operatives at police command Headquarters, Gusau charged them to be security conscious of themselves, and also operate in consonance with the constitutional provision and other extant laws. This is to give them the encouragement to protect the civil populace and their properties.

The CP assured the general public on the command's unalloyed commitment and determination to protect lives and properties in the state, and therefore appealed  for continued support to the police and other security agencies to effectively discharge their mandate.
