PRAYERS MEMORIAL GATHERING FOR CHIEF SEGUN OLUSOLA, mni, OFR (1935 - 2012)
Segun Olusola, was never an inch, but occupied spaces with impactful bonds of affection. A big vacuum was created when he exited to the celestial world from the teresstial template on Thursday June 21st, 2012.
Today, as we gather for his post-humous birthday for prayers, may it please our Lord to continue blessing his soul.
When a boy was delivered by Orebowale to Kehinde Moniya at Iperu-Remo, little was known that a quintessential Art Icon had arrived to situate his parents' artistic works into humanity template as good references. He knew about carpentary and mat-weaving and promoted cultural activities right from his days at Remo Seconday School, Shagamu.
He later became a Broadcaster of repute and.a unique Peace-Maker. His attendance to the refugee phenomenon became iceing on the cake He taught us how to fish rather than how to eat the edible spices. He died on Thursday and if he were alive today, we would have rolled drums out to celebrate his 86th birthday. What a Thursday of coincidence?
Segun Olusola, our man, we are proud of your unique legacies. May your soul be blessed. I still remember my talking engagements with him, (lessons derived are a continuum,) as expressed in my yet to be published book - SEGUN OLUSOLA: AN INSIDER STORY

Daddy, I remember you always. Happy post-humous birthday to a fantastic father and friend. He was a friend of the lonely.
