 MY MOTHER WAS A MOTHER INDEED! -  PRINCE ABIOLA YAYA AILERU.

   

     

 It was an emotional chat when I had to hang-out with OLU OF MUSHIN—HRM OBA FATAI AILERU ‘s Prince Yaya Aileru whose mother’s demise was a year old on the 20th of December, 2020. The 1st year memorial prayer and lecture was preceded by Imams of the mosque where she was  THE IYAADIINI till death struck, the venue was at no 6, Olufemi Crescent, Bayekun in Ikorodu axis of Lagos state which happens to be late Madam Ramota Ajoke Yussuff’s home.  Mama died at age 75. Even after a year of his mother’s death couple with his age, Prince Aileru almost tear-out during the interview, very emotional! Mothers were goddess indeed!

INSIGHT MAGAZINE---Prince, who was your mother?

PRINCE AILERU---( SIGH) You see, you don’t know the value of what you have until you loss it. There is this Yoruba adage that says “ Iya ni wura, Baba ni dingi” this saying is nothing but the truth! Mothers will go extreme to see her children comfortability,lots of her fosters children whom we grew up together were successful with off high profile today because of my mother’s strictness and one love, my mother was a mother indeed.  May Allah forgives all her short comings.

INSIGHT MACAZINE---Prince, do tell me about your mother as a queen

PRONCE AILERU---Thank you! My beloved mother was off Awori blood, her family house is ILE DAUDA in Ota very close to The Olota of Ota’s palace in Ogun state. Though , my father HRM is ofnAwori blood too, both met and got married here in Mushin, the marriage produced just two of us , myself Abiola  Aileru and my brother Prince Sulaimon Abolannle Aileru who resides in The United State of America. A fter so many years my mother relocated to Ikorodu where she lived all her life before the last breath.

PRINCE AILERU—(Cut-in) Her advice! I sincerely missed her advice! Her inspirational talks! Do it this way , don’t do that way! Her prayers, more so her cusson, I missed my mother taste of food a lot. I truly missed everything about my mother.

PRINCE AILERU---To we muslims, the Holy Quran had said it all, ”That your mother is your eternal” You children honor your mothers and you mothers take good care of your children, lead them the way of Allah, lead your children right, that is  my advice!
