 "I believe in competency not loyalty" - Gov. Zulum

 At the annual 17th memorial Lectures / Symposium which was organized by The Nigeria Bar Association ( NBA) Ikeja Branch in remembrance of the late (SAN)  Senior Advocate of Nigeria and an unrepentant human rights activist Chief Gani Fawehinmi was a gathering of intellectuals indeed! When His Excellency Governor Babangana Zulum of Borno state who was the special guest speaker spoke on the vital aspect of The Nigeria Constitution to Nigerians as an individual, he also enlightening the seats more about the problems and way out of insecurity challenges in the country and lots more .  Governor Zulum speeches aroused a standing ovation on this day but his talks that touches me to my bone marrow was- "Without putting religion aside in this country Nigeria, we can get it right"! Gov. Zulum affirmed and prefer employing a Christian Head of Service who is  very competent to a loyal Head of Service who is a Muslim in his cabinet. In a nutshell , Governor Zulum disagree with the federal might of putting the round peg in a square hole  in The Nigeria system of government!
